This classic bedroll was used by British & Commonwealth officers in WWI and WWII.  US Officers purchased many of them during WWI.  It was used to carry an officer's bedding, and could be slept in when the situation required.  It is made of heavy khaki canvas, with leather trim on the edges and sturdy leather belts to secure the roll.
