US Officer Leather Canteen Carrier

Copied from an original in the WPG collection, this item was an optional private purchase item for officers. There is no set pattern, and variations have been noted. This one has a M1917 style leather strap and hook for attaching to the saddle. It also has a wide belt loop on the back to carry on any kind of belt. Canteen is NOT included.
