Eventually it was also adopted by some units of the French Foreign Legion. It was worn over other uniforms for protection and camouflage.

We have reproduced this rare item in khaki cotton, exactly copying an original. We have made 3 sizes:

Small (Fits Chest sizes 36-42)
Medium (Fits Chest sizes 44-48)
Large (Fits chest sizes 50-54)

These are cut very large like originals and will typically be about 15-20 inches oversize to fit loosely over a uniform.

UK P-37 Battledress Trousers
View There were no giants in WWII. If you are exceptionally tall or wide, there is no battledress of any kind to fit you except reproductions. Even if you are a normal WWII size, real British BD is extremely scarce. Jackets in normal sizes can be found by diligent searching; trousers are nearly impossible.
