WPG now offers a very exact recreation of the WWII squad and platoon level radio, with an option for a functioning radio, or a display only shell that you can convert yourself.  Each comes complete with khaki sling.  Yes, it is a full-size metal body; what part of "exact recreation"  do you not understand?

OPTION 1 ($135):  Functioning Radio.  Has a built-in  14-channel Family Radio System (FRS) receiver/transmitter with a range about approximately 1 mile (1-2km).  Radio controls are accessed by removing the top cover (screwdriver required), batteries (4 AA cells, not included) are accessed through the bottom door.  The original rubber-covered Push-to-Talk switch activates the transmitter.  Antenna covers unscrews and telescoping antenna extends just like originals.

OPTION 2 ($70):  Empty shell.  This model has all the external features of the functional radio, but is empty inside.  Perfect for display, or for your own conversion project.

From 1941-1948 the US Army issued this brown leather equipment for MP use.    Now WPG reproduces this scarce equipment.  Complete set consists of M1937 Garrison Belt, Holster Frog with Shoulder Strap, Magazine Pouch and First Aid Pouch.  After WWII, the Army added a nightstick carrier and handcuff case, but these two items are not included.
