A Bat Wing upper part that is designed to allow the user to exit the bag quickly as well as to perform guard functions inside the bag. A faithful reproduction of the original, although we have used modern polyester batting instead of WWII kapok for insulation. The Denison bag was the only sleeping bag issued by the British Army in WWII. Originally a Special Forces item, it quickly became popular with any Tommy who could acquire one. Weighs 17 pounds.
