It is made by Benrus, one of many WWII contractors for US Army watches. Benrus states this watch is made to a 1942 specification, with an all steel water resistant case, 17 jewel Swiss movement, and second hand stop feature ( hack ). Comes in a beautiful khaki canvas case.
This private purchase covered watchband was a favorite of all GI's, especially paratroopers. Made slightly longer than originals to accomodate today's wrist sizes.
