US M1926 Life belt The US Navy M1926 lifebelt was standard issue for all assault troops, both Army and Marine, in most of the amphibious landings of WWII.
This WPG reproduction copies all the details, right down to the
markings. The internal triggers are missing, so it cannot be inflated
with CO2 cartridges, but you can blow it up through the inflation
tubes. These belts adjust out to 50 inches without undoing the
expansion folds.
US General Purpose Ammo Bags Also known as Grenade Bags or Demolition Bags. New reproduction, KHAKI with OD trim. These are made like 1944 production originals with a hook on one end and a D-ring on the other. No one knows why they were made this way, but by the end of the war many had a hook on each end.
US General Purpose Strap (Original) This is the adjustable strap with a snap hook on each end that replaced the musette bag strap, and was also used with the G.P. ammo bag. These were adopted in 1944 and were probably all O.D. Mine are unissued, Korean War dated, O. D.
