US Rope, Parachutist I have located another supply of kernmantle construction cotton rope that is nearly identical to the WWII paratrooper letdown rope.
This time, the rope is a dead ringer for the 2nd Pattern Parachutist Rope (see p. 56, America's Finest by Gary Howard). My previous supply of rope was of the 1st Pattern type. Comes coiled in a 33' section.
