This is an exact copy of the early war pattern with back cape, made in heavy duty rubberized canvas. In 1942 the QMC tried a number of different substitute materials due to the rubber shortage, but none were fully satisfactory. My repro copies every detail of the original right down to the original label., using original construction technique, which requires 8 man hours to produce one raincoat! This is a rugged item that is actually a bit heavier than an original.
