US Flight Suits AN-S-31 The AN-S-31 was used by both the Army and Navy from March 1943. There are many minor variations of this suit. Mine are made with two chest pockets, two lower leg pockets, and no AAF stencil. Read more information below.
Long suits are for height above 6' 2". Short suits are for height under 5' 10". All suits are cut 5 inches oversize in length to allow for a lot of shrinkage. Cut is very generous, and most people should order one size SMALLER than normal.
