Very nice copies. They fit my McClellan saddle well. The leather was a bit stiff from storage but softened up with leather treatment oils. I wish the web connecting the two bags wasn't glazed though. The bags are very well assembled and the brass fittings are excellent replicas of the original. I think the oval plates that slide over the footman loops are supposed to be brass not steel. The bag liners and smaller ration bags are a nice touch. A nice product at a good price. Well worth the money.
1904 saddle bags

At first blush these bags look very nice. I had to order through UAE warehouse.
Upon closer examination I noticed one of the canvas liners wasn't buttoned in, when I attempted to button it , the button came off in my hand. Secondly as I attempted to attach these to my original 1904 McClellan the force to push it over the saddle bag hook caused the hook to break off and I was unable to get the bags over the footman loops to slip the retaining tabs in. I will attribute that to new stiff leather and needing oiled. We will see how they fair otherwise in the field. As they will be used and not just for display.
Only other issue was had to request tracking info as it was not sent automatically like previously
