Like everyone has said this is a truly excellent reproduction. Some slight flaws to the original such as the stitching could be tighter. Also as stated the elastic is not up to par and truly would be the only thing I would say is substandard but it looks right and has the right colors. Just 3% more WPG and this is golden

Look and fit is great. All the details are there although the stitching could have been more consistent. Otherwise, looks just like the real thing. With a little use and and some weathering will work well with reenacting - original 70 year old ones are too fragile and valuable to use. Much better than the other repro available. Thanks Jerry!

Overall, this is a great reproduction helmet. The leather quality and assembly are really great and the shipping time was very fast. The only issues my helmet had a couple small star-shaped hairline cracks in the shell and the elastic straps on the back were stretched out and didn't have a lot of elasticity to them. Overall, a nice reproduction at a fraction of the price of an original, and in a larger size for modern heads.
