Very good product. Fits tall people well.

WPG is the only company to do these. Needed for 1st Para Brigade in Tunisia impression, also for wear at work in the bush.
I’m 6’6â€, 42-43†chest and usually require tall sizes in everything so got one on a gamble with some other aertex shirts. It worked out.
I originally ordered all in 46. The other shirts (Aertex desert and post war aertex shirts) were just long enough in 46 with shoulders fitting ok and without being too baggy given they’re field wear not dress shirts - lucky and happy with that.
This new run aertex jacket appears sized differently and in 46 was very baggy and surprisingly far too long. I reordered in a 44 and it fits perfectly. It is ample long enough in the body and arms for my height, shoulders fit fine and the chest is not excessively baggy - again it’s a bush jacket so isn’t meant to fit like a slender dress shirt. Shirt arm placard maybe needs to be an inch longer looking at originals, but I can still roll the sleeves up ok.
Got 2 and very happy to finally have these and that they actually fit so well given my height.

Just got the new, restocked version and it's wonderful! I did order one size up just in case sleeve length might be an issue. After warm wash and dry it fits very well. I could have ordered my regular size in retrospect but I kind of like the loose fit allowing a shirt and light sweater if needed. The lower button is still a tad too low based on pics of originals I have seen and when fastened and seated, it does pull on the button whereas if it was two inches higher it would sit better without stressing the button stitching. Simple enough to unbutton as needed and for me it's no big deal but I mentioned it because of other reviews of earlier versions. IMHO, it's better when Jerry's products aren't "perfect" because they could be easily passed on by others as "originals". Keep on Trucking Jerry and all at WPG!

Overdue...

Been eying Aertex fabric garments for a bit and finally pulled the trigger with this purchase. Incredible material, highly competent construction, would have loved in "previous incarnation" in Levant, Maghreb, Equatorial Africa, Arabian Peninsula, SW Asia, South Asia, SE Asia, Latin America. Would purchase JG Jacket and post WW2 Shirts in a heartbeat, but alas, No 48's in stock, pity. Perhaps... As always, Shukran Wajed!
