For most of this century, in the summer, I've lived in the WPG 1941 pattern UK Shorts. With natural wear & tear, I have to replace them from time to time. This is the 1st time I've had concerns. My main one is that the material of the KD ones I've just received (March 2025) seems noticeably lighter than previous ones, so I fear that they may have lost some of their wonderful hard wearing character. Time will tell. Additionally, I ordered both a KD pair and a JG pair at the same time in the same size and they were a bit inconsistent. On the KDs, I had to move the right hand straps out as they were terribly long when buckled, while the JG ones were the opposite, barely buckle-able, so I had to move the right hand straps in.
