Size is perfect, cant really find anything different from the originals. The color is a little on the lighter side but will darken over time after a few runs of polish and allowing the leather to age.

I used to own a never before issued NOS pair of 1944 WWII Officer shoes (until I sold them). This pair is exactly like the originals in every respect. Only the laces are different..the laces are the modern rounded type as opposed to the flat silk type but you can pick up flat laces anywhere. The coloring is exactly right and they are comfortable too! Great product!
