I expected actual WWII khaki cloth...army surplus, actually. The fit is correct for the description and I haven't washed them yet. I hope they don't shrink like mad. Service is good except I can't figure out how to place an order and pay for it since I can find no button which applies.

The above comments apply to the Gurkha shorts I also ordered.
