These are one of the MOST comfortable boots I ever worn and the sole is unique from today''s shoes/boots and these are my daily basis footwear In fact since I found out about the 1917 trench boot I just got to get me one. Thanks

Darn Good Boots
(2011-03-09)
I''ve read forum discussions about various boondockers and own another make. These are an "A" pair. They look exactly like the period samples, although the tread is not exact, good enough. They fit very well and are well made. They are a very good reproduction and a bargain at these prices.

ok boots
(2010-11-22)
The leather felt cheap and there were multiple stitching defects. After wearing them for two weeks I noticed the boots said size 10! on the inside and I bought size 11s! All things considered, these are still some of the most comfortable shoes I''ve owned in some time. I bought these for everyday boots not for WWII dress. If they break anytime soon I will be very upset, but it looks like its possible. I am a film memorabilia collector and bought them because I loved The Pacific.
