The color and resulting finish are the best I have seen so far and match some of my WW1 dated gear that did not come off movie lots. HOWEVER, it takes a lot more than 1 jar to coat equipment - it took me a jar and a half just to do two coats on one ''08 belt but the results were worth it. Highly endorsed
