A beautiful recreation of the 1909 Colt holster. The problem is that the flap needs another 1" to close onto the brass finial. I will attempt to shape it.

I am very impressed with this holster. Yes, a bit of wet forming is required to get a good fit for my Colt New Service but apart from that this is a really fine copy of the M1909 Holster. My only suggestion would be to stitch the holster with a tan or light brown thread as were originals of the period.

Most prompt, beautiful work, fits well. Once treated with pure needsfoot oil, it actually appears original.
