Sweater is great! Mine was dated 1950, and smells of storage (what can you expect from an original in great condition?) I’d buy another if I could! Aside from minor details like the buttons, it will pass for WWII without issue, perfect for Korea reenactors or collectors! Medium does mean medium, so measure yourself before purchase! I measure at 41” (chest) and 38” (waist), and it barely fits. But it didn’t tear nor rip, heavy military weaving when it was good!

The sweater is in great condition and feels and looks great too. Unfortunately, even the largest size small "fits 36-40" was way too small for even a smaller build guy like myself (I'd describe it as an X-Small), and since it was so reasonably priced, returning it wasn't worth the cost of shipping back. I'll probably check out the WPG repro 5-buttons assuming they make a size small.
