Another great product from WPG. I ordered this belt for a WWII USMC officer impression. The quality of the belt is very good. I spent a couple hours polishing the brass fittings and dyed the leather with Lincoln Marine Cordovan dye. A few coats of polish later, the belt looks amazing. I'm thinking of ordering another to keep back for my Army officer uniform.

The Sam Browne belt and associate accouterments are well made and sturdy. The equipment reflects field gear of a different era. It is light enough to be worn all day and protects the gear carried.

Sizing the belt is difficult. You should order yours 10-12 inches larger than your pants size, especially if you put a lot of gear on it.

If you get two should straps, cross them in the back to make the Sam Browne gear ride easier. Definitely a niche product that takes some effort to make work.
