Most UK military haberdashers sell a brown kid glove that snaps at the wrist. These are browner, of a heavier leather (an older goat?...) and with a gauntlet wrist. All those are, IMO, pluses. The gloves appear well-made, cut on the snug side and quickly stretch to a nice fit. It would be nice if these were made in a range of sizes; I really need an "8 cadet" (wide hand, short fingers), but that is no longer common for obvious if unfortunate reasons. Because these have gauntlet wrists, one can turn the wrist into a cuff very "Philo Vance". It would be nice if these gloves were lined with matching brown silk (the gloves would slide on more easily), and would justify a slightly higher price. But as these are currently priced, these are a great value.

Nice gloves, got really wrinkled very fast though, I’m not sure if this is normal for leather gloves as these are my first pair.
