From pictures of originals I've seen, I really can't tell the difference. All the little details are there. Plus, you don't have to worry about tearing up a fragile old original during use.

This haversack is nearly indistinguiisble from my original, including color, material weight, and stitching. Extremely well constructed that can easily withstand a full marching load! Only thing I'd say is to replace the clips with originals.
