This shelter half (quarter) is darker in color and more green than the WPG WWII US Army (early) shelter-quarter. Also, there are no markings of any kind. Thanks for including the tie-ties. I don't think that the WWI pack roll could use four of them, even though there are four sets of loops on the shelter. This, therefore, begs the question: "Why not use these for early WWII (Guadalcanal) impressions?" I realize that by 1941 the USMC had updated to closed (double) ends, but the color is correct, and the four sets of tie-ties and loops would make a perfect horseshow roll for the P1941 Haversack.

An outstanding reproduction of an early USMC shelter tent. Lightning fast shipping, too. Thank you, Jerry!
