Overall I am happy with the purchase, I have a very wide foot so was kind of hit and miss with the size chart. But worked ok, the boot is well made and so far no issues.

These look exactly like the boots my Uncle Wib wore while serving with the 27th Infantry Division during WWII on Makin ("It's good we didn't land more guys or casualties would have been higher"), Saipan, and Okinawa ("Okinawa...Okinawa was the worst."). Now to the WPG US Army Roughouts. I wear a US men's size 8 shoe. As described the WPG boots are a little large on me. I lace them tight and they fit fine. The first time I laced them up one of the eyelets popped out. Fortunately, I had the tools and parts on hand to easily replace it. Next, I gave them a light treatment of Huberd's shoe grease and worked that in with a stiff brush. I appreciate the solid leather midsole paired with the rubber sole. Yesterday we hiked 4+ miles over paved roads and steep forest trails. My feet were happy throughout.
