Great in every way! (2023-09-19)
As usual, Jerry and his amazing staff came through with flying colors on a wonderful product. The fit and construction of this jacket are excellent. The details are about as close as you're going to get to an original, right down to the lightness of it (real A-1's and A-2's weren't lined; they weren't meant for warmth. That's a modern thing). The product is - pardon the pun - positively A-1...

As for shipping, I placed my order late on a Friday night and had the jacket from their UAE warehouse the next Wednesday! I don't care what anyone says - that's freaky fast.

Thanks Jerry and staff - you guys always come through.

Splendid job (2023-02-08)
I'm 5'7", 135 lbs., 18" shoulders, 38 suit coat.
I ordered the medium, which gives a bit of room, as I'd hoped, to layer a sweater or down vest underneath.
The skin used for the exterior is soft and smooth; the knit cuffs, collar, and waist seem resilient enough.
As far as I can see, it's a very near replica of the original, and it's more economical than it's nearest legitimate competitor. Be wary of sellers of 'distressed' versions for less than $150.
The only comment is that the inside 'anchor' buttons are made of cheap, clear plastic, and have two holes instead of four. Extant originals have brown or off-white anchors, sometimes none at all.
As soon as I got mine, I painted the buttons a bone color with brown marbling. I'll paint them brown presently, and pick up proper buttons for the time when I'm motivated enough to replace the painted plastic ones.
As always, shipment and delivery were very prompt, which is more than I can say for the small package from UK that took 24 days to arrive. Thank goodness, there was no transshipping through England.
What Price Glory is always the first place I look when I'm in the market for interwar and WW2 clothing and equipment.
Cheers

Great fit! Great workmanship. You might consider a couple of larger sizes.
