I expected that the ratio of inseam to waistine would have been the same in this as in the KD Boer War trousers and shorts -- the latter two are virtually the same, but the serge trousers seem end up having a "lower" waistline -- or a higher inseam, depending on how one arranges the braces I suppose. Like the material and manufacture. Haven't had them in the field yet, but they are promising.

the serge tunic bought earlier this year.
I now look forward to completing my other ranks boer war mannequin .
This new uniform set is museum quality : originals are now extremely rare .
