A replica?

This briefcase is presented as a replica? If it is, they sure fooled me. I could present a very compelling argument on my belief that this is for real, but don’t have the space to articulate it. One big reason however is how it comes packaged. It covered in a white “talcum” type powder then wrapped in cellophane. It is as stiff as a board, however several coats of a leather conditioner brings this case to life (I use Saphir products that you can obtain on Amazon) like the day iit was issued. And for this price! Once conditioned, this case is gorgeous and authentic. A real keeper!

Quick shipping from overseas and fantastic communication as with all my orders thru WPG. The leather and stitching of the A-4 Briefcase is tops...EXCEPT... the one I received has a black spray painted white metal locking latch on it and not brass as shown on the website or on any of the originals I've examined. All the other buckles on the briefcase are brass and spot on except the locking latch. Just a tad disappointed by this deviation. It doesn't compromise the functionality of the briefcase at all. Just can't give it a 5/5 because of the latch.
