Outstanding, quality garment. I measure a 44’, and ordered a 44, based on reviews. The arm holes are a bit high, as mentioned, but are fine. Sleeve length is good. I realize it is meant for wearing over one’s uniform, but I was absolutely swimming in it. Could have easily sized down to a 40 for normal wear. All in all, well worth the money for a high-quality garment.

The worksmanship of the coat looks quite good. As instructed on the website I ordered one size up from my normal size in order to wear something underneath (in order to wear it under proper cold circumstances). It stil feels a bit tight, especially in the armpits. I would suggest that someone who wants to wear this coat under real cold circumstances (e.g. with a heavy sweater underneath) may want to order this coat Two sizes up instead of just one.

Great coat that will keep you warm without under layer since it is fully lined with genuine mouton shearling .
I remember the one I had when a teenager . Hollywood made it popular as a Ranch Coat back in the 50's
The size is true and excellent quality construction . There very hard to find !!
