Really quite excellent and at a cutthroat price... I have owned an original for years, and used it, too, as a comfortable and lightweight day-pack; bought this one to make the old one last longer... I really can''t notice any difference in quality. Just cut off the unneccessary strap-ends (yes! and yes, I did the same with the original... sorry collctors) and I''ll be packing for years to come.
