Just received my French Army TTA 47 jacket. The jacket is perfect unissued condition, and made from sturdy olive green cotton twill. I ordered the size 46 jacket, and is labelled in the older French Army sizing system as a size 49, which corresponds to a European size 112-120cm tall. I am a size 44" chest, and it fits me with space to spare for a woollen jumper underneath. I bought this as a backup to another identical jacket i bought 26 years ago. I have worn that jacket very frequently over the years with jeans, and it still has not frayed or developed any holes. The pockets are generous and can handle phone, sunglasses, keys, etc., and whatever you need for a day out. It should be noted that the jacket received is the modèle TTA 47/52, where the lower pockets sit externally on the jacket instead, making them more durable. The one depicted in the listing is the mountain troop version with the hood and internal lower pockets like the early type TTA 47 jackets. These are extremely rare, and I've never found an original one in my size. Maybe I need to get WPG's repro to fill that hole! All in all this is a fantastic jacket that will give you decades of wear.

My jacket arrived and I couldn't be more excited. It still has the paper tags in it. The stamps are crisp, like they were made yesterday. An amazing item that is unissued. A chance to own this uniform will not come around again! Buy this before they are gone for good.
