The hat isn't perfect but certainly better than i've seen in the past. The peak is made of what feels like plastic so I doubt itll break in such as we seen in the wartime images but still not a bad product.

If you have a very large head, the large size may be too small. They are pretty flexible. My daughter wears the same as mine. My hat size is 7 3/8.

Got 2 of these caps in Large since that was all you had. Quality is great (I brought 3 XL caps several years ago becasue I wear them every day in the winter and the last one finally gave out) Unfortunately size L fits me like a yarmulke so they will become Christmas presents. PLEASE make the XL again!!!!!!!!!!!
