British WWI pattern Cuff Rank Officers Tunic
(2015-08-06)
The pattern is spot on. Also, the size was a little larger than was advertised and that's always a good thing because it is easier to size down in size up. I am using it for a Royal Flying Corps impression and I am very pleased.

WW1 Officer Tunic
(2015-04-07)
Excellent quality and feel of the original. Good fit for 44" Chest. Quantity of braid was'nt enough for Major and above but a quick email resulted in this being delivered in three days. Brilliant WPG service as always.

WW1 British officer tunic
(2014-06-22)
This is a well constructed and well made British officers tunic. As the description says, it has pointed flaps on the top pockets and two bellows-type pockets at the bottom secured by General Service buttons. The epaulettes end in a point at the collar. The officers cuffs need to be sewn on as the sleeves are adjustable (on the tunic I received the sleeves were too short even with the extra material). There is a sewn in belt and five buttons securing the front (on original tunics the button immediately under the sewn-in belt is close to the base of the belt: on these tunics it is much lower down so this could be looked at in subsequent runs). The braid needs to be sewn on to the cuff to represent a British officer so use examples on the internet so this is done properly. I particularly liked the wide bellows pockets so if you get a tunic in your size the bottom of the tunic should be cut wide and generous. If you don''t want to portray a British officer with the early pattern tunic you can delete the cuffs and put pips on the epaulettes. I returned my tunic because of these problems in the hope I can get another tunic at a later date.
