I tried making my own but WPG''s 1905 lanyard far surpasses anything I couldve done.
It makes for a great 1911 accesory when shooting in competition one handed. The lanyard stretches around the body and straight along the arm pulling at the loop and thus keeping the sights aligned, making it easier to pull the trigger w/o disturbing them.
It looks like it''ll last a long time.
