Heavyweight, great quality. Wish there were more holes in the belt, but this is probably per original specs.

McGregor - US

I have nothing to compare it to other than officers SD in barathea rather than the serge that this is so I hope it is accurate enough for colour and texture. To do BoB reenacting, there is not much choice for uniforms! This is an extremely heavyweight item that would be very warm in the winter. Pockets are proportioned at about 5-1/2 inch width. I am a 44L and they sent a 44L and it fits tight. A 46L would have been pukka but they are out of them. No frock will fit under this unless I lose 25 pounds. The serge of the tunic matches the serge of the trousers. Six original KC RAF buttons. The belt buckle is not original but good enough and in solid brass. The tunic has sewn in place brass belt hooks. The belt is long enough and well made. All but the skirt is lined in blue. There are no tailoring faux-pax as found on the officers SD. It is well made. If the cloth texture in colour is reasonably accurate, then I will be happy with it. I wear a 34 inch shirt sleeve length and these are about a 35-36 but can be taken in smartly.
