A great reproduction (2008-02-18)
I was excited to see someone was producing a reproduction of the very expensive MK-I. I saw George Gay''s original at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola and this WPG one is right on. The hole that your head goes through seems a little small but managable. It is stiff when new but with a little work and some tea-dye and a few well placed "oil" stains, it "authenticates" nicely. I''m one of the few USN pilot reenactors (as far as I''ve seen)and to see Jerry go to this extreme to supply us with a quality product is most inspiring. Jerry is really the only one I''ve found that has more than just 1 or 2 Navy articles and I own all he produces. They all are well worth it.
