G.S. Haversack Mk I for General Service Haversack Mark I

The Mark I Haversack was issued for the British soldier to carry various small items that needed to be kept with him at all times.  It included a small pocket on the outside for carrying the Emergency Ration. The sling was made adjustable by use of a slide buckle. Fabric is jute to match the original.  This haversack, along with the mess tin carrier and the greatcoat carrier, comprised the non-leather items that were used with the P03 equipment set.
