NEW! British Army Denim Battledress PACKAGE- Superior Quality

The package consists of both the British Army 1937 pattern Denim blouson and the matching trousers. These two items are sold together as a set. The blouson is identified by product code 207288, and the trousers by 207305. This combination allows for a complete uniform.

The denim fabric used is an exact copy of the actual denim used throughout most of WWII and into the 1960s. It is spot on with original garments. The weight and cut of the denim are outstanding. The colour also looks like some original green wartime denims.

The sizing is generally good, with some finding it fits well. Some garments are available in larger sizes. One garment was found to be just fine, though a little larger would have been preferred. The fit is comparable to previous WPG chocolate-coloured brown denims.

The material and finish of the garments are of very high quality. The denim is described as top-shelf quality. The uniform is well-made and durable enough for all-day wear during events. The quality is superior, living up to expectations.

The blouse belt buckle can be problematic. The buckle is fairly ragged and has sharp teeth. The belt loop can get stuck on these sharp teeth. Filing down the buckle may be necessary to prevent it from tearing the fabric.

The fly fastening on the trousers is not always well-done. The top two buttons can be exposed when the flies are done up. This issue is due to the buttons or buttonholes being machined wrongly, rather than the trousers being too tight. It is a real shame, as the rest of the kit is great.
