In 1963 the British Army adopted a new pattern of windproof smock to replace the WWII pattern smocks. The new one was the same pattern except for addition of a full length zipper and color changed to olive drab. This smock was primarily issued to Special Air Service (SAS) and Royal Marine Commandos. We have reproduced this very rare smock in the original 100% cotton OD fabric.
