Our Airborne scarf measures 54x32 inches, with finished edges. It is polyester but looks exactly like the original silk parachute cloth. Original WWII scarves were cut roughly from available canopies. you can cut this large scarf into several smaller ones, or leave as is. Later, in the 1950's and 1960's this scarf became popular with Special Forces and usually had finished edges like ours.
