My original breech cover is in excellent condition!
The slight corrosion on the metal parts-to be expected-was easily cleaned. The leather thong was supple and cleaned up well with saddle soap. Amazingly, the stitching was clean, tight and unbroken! This item is a must accessory for an enfield rifle and/or a UK, Canadian kit display.

I love my breech cover. I have the best dressed enfield on the block. Thank You for giving us the best militaria. It really does look great, and function wonderfully.

35 years ago i bought an original unissued breech cover for my one of my enfield.The one i just bought is EXACTLY the same except it is not stiff as steel from 50 years in storage and the leather thongs are not harder than bayonnet steel...!
