Chocolate Elastique Garrison Cap

This generation of garrison caps is spot-on. The fit runs as marked. The proportions are correct. The elastique is great - as always! The officer's braid piping is tight - way better than earlier runs. Finally, the height is in accordance with the originals - not to high and not to low.
WPG is spot-on! Look no further for a great piece of headgear.

Material on these is superb- BUT the officers piping is clunky compared to originals. I replaced my piping with that off another brand repro and ended up with something that is indistinguishable from an original. The elastique is brilliant though!

The materials of the cap are perfect but the cut was much too high. In contrast to the khaki version I purchased, which I feel is perfect.

This is very well made but I am not sure it has a paratrooper cut to it. The para patch doesn't even cover the braid on the right side. My origional hat for my para days has a much deeper cut. The airbone patch is covering the braid by as much as 50%. The ones in WWII pictures seem to be taller too. Still it is the only game in town because I can't find another anywhere. I'm OK with it but am reseraching further pictures.

Jerry must have a Time Machine, this cap is 99.99% right on when compared to my original. This definitely is a Class 1A product and the price is just way too good. Buy this item from WPG, unlike the others, Jerry has them in stock when he says he does! A++, highly recommend.
