Jungle green tropical Battledress trousers

Excellent service from WPG ,
Quality of the trousers is excellent, very well made , quality materials and stitching is good too .
Colour is the Grey Green Jungle green colour, flat Map pocket, not pleated as some say it should be, I wanted these for late WW2 early Emergency impressions and they are good.
Sizing is a bit smaller in the waist than I thought it would be. Leg length is long , but can easily be shortened
Waist buckles are heavy duty but do slide , so either double back or change the buckles, to ones with prongs .
These are the sort of trousers that should last years and will stand up to the jungle well
I washed them on a hot wash and had no noticeable shrinkage at all
But I do recommend measuring above the navel and possibly sizing up

I can’t compare these to the real thing but as work pants they are good and pretty much as expected though they are more grey and not as green as pictured. However there is some poor stitching on the fly on my pair making it very difficult to button. As for the complaints about the buckles, they might have been improved because the buckles on my pair are sturdy.

Well made trousers, but they are the post-war pattern that saw extensive use during the Malayan Emergency rather than the pattern used during WW2.

This is potentially a very nice item, however on the one that I received the left side pocket was folded over and stitched to the seam of the leg.

Pattern 44 trousers

They are the Pattern 1944 style, which is exactly what I wanted. Not Aertex as listed, but to me that's a good thing. The buttons aren't the correct type for these trousers, but they are easily replaceable; the buckles are so-so. I wear a 30-31 waist, I ordered the 32, they fit well (likely could fit 29-34 or so). Well made. Fastest shipping EVAH. Nice people to deal with.

Good colour and material, but are closer to 1944 pattern trousers than wartime JG BD, I removed the back left pocket and added a pleat to the leg pocket, now they''re much closer to my originals. I hope the KD mid war trousers come in JG soon.

Good quality materials and workmanship. Fit fine in waist. Thought they would be $25 but because I am a 30" waist it cost me $45 (still well worth the money.) Because the trousers seemed to be the late pattern that came out with the P44 removed the belt loops and left rear pocket; altered right pocket so pleat would be centered. Received item in a week
