I love them. This the third order I have made for two pairs. I wear them in the Wisconsin winter and gave some to all my kids. Service and delivery was incredibly fast

The socks are hysterical -- in a good way. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs.
They roll up all the way to the knees, and are luxurious thick wool -- the only natural fiber that still feels warm even when wet. They work under boots.
The delivery was surprising speedy.
Possibly there will be a slightly darker spot or two. This seems to go with this sort of product. I have an old submariner sweater (bought in 1981 in London at Lawrence Corner, so I think it's authentic) which had the same thing.

These are the "seaboot" socks of my UK childhood. Exactly what I would expect to be thrown by the stores wallah as you drew your kit. Roll down twice over the top of your seaboots or RAF flying boots. Perfect!

I''m into military fashion, and these socks are super cool! They are REALLY BIG AND THICK! They do look the part of the 8th army fighting with the Afrika Korps though!It LOOKS LIKE the elastic might go first around your calves though. Be prepared and sew on some reinforcement. I love the socks though!Fits my 10 1/2 U.S feet perfect!Must have for the desert look! Kilts...fer sure!!

I've always desired these kind of socks, I find them of outstanding manufacture. Only thing I can say now, 'cause there aren't currently the proper conditions to test them, is that are damn comfortably, perfectly fit & worthy. How they will perform vs. shrinking, only time will tell, but I'm confident

I was a bit skeptical about the sizing, since it was listed as "One size only," with no more detail about just what that size was. However I am very pleased to report that the socks do fit, and will work very well with the wool hiking knickers that I have. Thank you very much for these. The weight is just perfect.

The socks were very comfortable and fit well right out of the bag. They need to be boiled and dryered to tighten the knit, but otherwise excellent kit to go with those 1936 Pattern flying boots!

Thick, traditional knit; looks like good quality; perfect; just what I was looking for to cope with the global cooling here in Alaska. I washed them in hot water and dried in hot dryer to tighten the knit, as is commonly done with wool garments; this worked well. Next I'll treat them with lanolin. WPG provided great service. Thanks WPG!
