Like the rough edge.The puggaree is very classic. Got a bit roughed up in shipment and was surprised that it came only in a plastic bay without any packing. But it is a bush hat and not a hat for a night on the town.

True to my size (59) and well made. Akubra is top quality and the price is really absurdly low. Had to steam to get a bend out of the snapped up brim. Looks great with a "rising sun" pin as worn by Australian Military Forces. Leather headband is comfortable, and being a long oval I can recommend this to long oval hat wearers.

Got the hat relatively quickly (about a week from Dubai I think) and absolutely love it. Looks totally great - very quintessentially Australian. I love the snap and raw edge as oppossed to the dressy version nowadays.

Comfortable and rugged. A true Akubra.

NOTE: Upon recieval, hat will be extremely STIFF. Be prepared for some serious beating to get it soft.
