the leather strap is very nice and supple .
but the buckle doesn t seem to be made of brass but nickel.
it is stamped with an anchor .

My first original.Loved it.Has a bit of "patina" and doesn't seem very 'unissued',but the team at WPG really went out of their way to send me this!.
It would look fantastic on a late world war 11,or Korean shell that has seen a little action.
