I am a little sad about it. First the velcro attacment. I looking for a repro and I search a real thing like original ones. I have time to button it up I don't need velcro. Second, the upper part at the back are not in the back line of the leg but inside, this have to go straight at the back. But to be fair with WPG, I search other producer and they all make spats with velcro! I can't return them because my boot make a little black wax inside the one I try. Now I find some ones they make me a pair without velcro and with good fitting at the back legs. Thanks WPG for your products they give us the pleasure of doing our hobby.PS: WPG says they are velcro I don't read it.

I appreciate the quality of the spats I purchased, especially that two of the buttons - the top and bottom buttons - are real, which ensures that the Velcro will stay in place. Spats I purchased from a different company a while back constantly fell off because they only featured Velcro. Thanks!

I have an earlier version of the khaki spats with all functional buttons. They're a pain in the posterior to put on by yourself. These newer ones have velcro for the main body and are much easier to get on and off. I was afraid that the velcro would be obvious in person, but I am happy to report that they are not.

the Scottish Spats are spot on with the color. but the size at the top of the Spat
calf. is not wide enough for my calf. if would you make the Spats in different calf sizes that would be great

Has Velcro attachment as the originals are really hard to put on oneself as the buttons are on the outside of the ankle, two buttons, top and bottom are real and secure the Velcro from detaching, if used in the field the Velcro may wear out however as real buttons are on the outside it would not take much work to make button holes to adapt as the original spat was intended.

Thanks for the continued service. Please find another supplier for the Kilt Hose. I have bought two pairs in the past and both had the toe area blow out after first wear.
