As always, the quality of Online Militaria clothing is superlative. I took this jacket to an experienced theatrical tailor friend for a slight altersion and she marvelled at it. Really top quality at a more than reasonable price.

I am looking for a black bandsman's jacket to go with my black trousers with red stripe down the seam. The British Patrol Jacket comes a close second but it's the wrong colour so unless I have it dyed black (unsure how this would turn out) I will have to keep looking. Also, I am unsure about the sizings. The largest size is 48 but I don't know how that equates to chest size in centimetres. Any suggestions?

Excellent workmanship and attention to detail right down to the leather patch to protect your neck from the hooks. It even has the pointy cuffs which it should have but I didn't expect. I bought one size up to be on the safe side and it's a little big so I would recommend that you buy your normal size.

Love the quality & construction of this jacket.....unfortunately I ordered the incorrect size, so can not comment on fit as of yet, but I've no doubt that will be on par with the jacket make up as well!

I'm usually a US large, so ordered the 42.
It fits really nice all over without being too loose.
I'm 5'11" 180lb and a somewhat athletic build.

The tunic itself is great! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is when I received it, there was a button missing. So I had to sew one of the extras on. Other than than its great! Highly recommended.

This is a really nice jacket! The wool has a very nice "hand" to it, and the jacket is very comfortable to wear as well as very nice looking. Size 44 (my usual) fits me perfectly. Service from WPG was, as usual, excellent!

I ordered a Size 48, which is one size up from my usual size, and the fit is perfect for a general purpose Patrols tunic. If you want it as a dress uniform, go for your normal size, and it'll be close-cut and sharp. Perhaps a bit on the short side, if I have to find something to complain about, but I'm happy anyway.

I am 6ft, 101kg, 46 chest, 38 waist and 43 for the neck. The size is spot on. Size 46 I got by the way. The sleeve length is perfect. The fit around the torso excellent which allows for movement which was amazing as it looks like a nice snug fit. These mandarine collars are always a little fiddly to do up but that is a given. One of the buttons was broken, but you get two more in the inside seem. The colour is a nice dark blue, not navy blue, actually just like what you see on the screen. There are no inside pockets for your wallet. The wool material is luxurious and warm. Could double this jacket for a police jacket from the late Victorian or Edwardian period. Feels lovely to wear. I recommend this jacket for a reenactment group to have a nice dress uniform for 'non showtime' action.
