Ran it through two wash cycles and the brim is stiff enough to stand out flatter than a bucket hat, the crown is just stiff enough to stay off my scalp, and there was no noticeable shrinking. Just what I wanted in a packable hat.

The rim of this hat is a bit broader than other cloth US hats so it gives more shadow. I think it's going to be my new favorite summer hat.
