As previously stated, the Taranaki hat issued to me has a chinstrap and ends in a point, not a rounded top which is more American.

I love the lemon squeezer. it is a real good reproduction. I would ignore some of the previous comments regarding the point on the hat and brim thickness etc, in my opinion it is a very good copy and the people saying those comments are Walts.

Very good copy of Kiwi Lemon Squeezer, great companion for my Aussie Slouch hat. Would be nice if it came with a chin strap. Delivery time was fast.

Hi guys - great work.
Having had a real LemonSqueezer issued to me long ago, I might suggest a sweatband of leather inside [like in a SD cap] and there is a leather chin strap that should be present as well, which attaches through a 'breatherhole' underneath the puggaree. The Top of Mount Taranaki [these are modeled after our Mount Taranaki to stop rain pooling in the Mounted rifle hat] should finish at a point. OTHERWISE bang on - and I am very satisfied indeed! A returning customer, I'll be back for more.

Hat is even better than I had hoped for, fine quality, good materials and well packed with fast shipping. If you cannot locate or afford a real one this is by far the next best thing!

For the price is a nice item. The originals are running in the 400NZ$ and this comes in NZ less than 100NZ$ delivered.The quality of originals is higher, the felt is very high quality and particularly the brim thickness and rigidity is much better in originals...but for reenacting thisis an outstanding item. The now usual great service and delivery time, it came very fast...in time for ANZAC day mate! Tks Jerry!
